Hello everyone pleased to meet to meet you.

Hello all,
im BROADTRAIN1979 My railway interests are: (BR BLUE ERA) from the early to late 70's. My favorite line and trains are, class 501 emu and north london 3rd rail line, 105 dmus, classes 31/ 37 /47/ 33/ 25 /44/ 55'. Im currently building a replicate of my favorite station ,canonbury north london line, which is on a board 4ft 10" by 3ft 3",
'n' gauge using peco code 55 finescale track.
I have only got to the stage of track laid and dcc wired, so at present very basic. I will show some pics as i progress.
Regards Mark.

Did Canonbury still have a signal box in the '70s. I'm sure it did, I have a memory of the night a box burnt down on the NLL which I've a feeling was Canonbury.

Thanks all for the warm welcome. Hi seabrook the signal box at canonbury was demolished in 1974. The signal box you mean, was the one at gospel oak ,that was the one that was burnt down inthe late 80s? a real shame! I will post pics soon.
Regards Mark.
