This is a good place to start.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/British_Rail_Class_77

also

http://www.lner.info/locos/Electric/em2.shtml

It makes me wonder how many people really know how to use internet search engines like Google.

I just typed in "class EM2 loco" and quite a lot came up.

I have to say I have a basic distrust of Wikipedia, it may be one stop of point in research, but I prefer to use more trusted sources, mainly book based. The INTERNET does not always provide the right answer! There is a lot of misinformation out there!

Best wishes,

John H-T.

That's OK I have a database file which isn't complete ...yet
I'm trying to get a full record of all loco's and rolling stock from 1970 to present day

it's an Excel 2003 file - I am short of any Coaching lists and wagon lists but am slowly working through http://www.ltsv.com for the wagons and http://www.abrail.co.uk for coaches and multiple units
