Exclamation Swiss Funicular to Close

The Lauterbrunnen Grutschalp Funicular is set to close on the 23rd April.
This is due to ground movement and the consequentel high cost of maintaining the line.
The Funicular will be replaced by a Cable Car due to open in time for the start of this years winter season.
The metre gauge BLM line at the top of the funicular which runs to Murren will operate to a reduced service during the summer.
