M & GNR brakevan.

I saw a picture of 8572 with a M & GNR brakevan in the gallery.

The brakevan has a "strange" looking appendage one end that I've never seen before.

I think one end has been converted to carry tools. Probably when it was part of the Melton Constable Breakdown Train.
