I do love that site.
I've had a good read many times and find it very interesting with a lot of good photos to illustrate the stations past and present condition. I also suggest everyone has a click if they have a spare moment. |

I have seen that subbrit site before, it is very good and although I don't condone trespass and illegal entry they are in a strange way documenting decaying and unseen Britain in a way that would never have been possible before and it makes for fascinating reading/looking. There is another similar site of equal stature worth a look:

Just have and realise that it's another site that I visit regularly. Unfortunately the webber has moved out of London and so it's unlikely that it will develop any further.

One long since closed station was Leith Central. Closed to passengers in 1952 it became a diesel depot until final closure in 1972. One of the things that makes it so fascinating is the fact that it was one of the least photographed stations in the UK and it also had a rather grand glass roof which made it look like a mainline station. It was finally demolished in 1989. I think it might be featured on the subbrit site.
