Caldervale 155's

Im going on a Northern Rail Man Vic-Leeds service later this month, Im expecting 155's but does anyone know any other stock that is used on this service? Has anyone travelled on the service and what do you think?

Well, the Brighouse-Huddersfield branch of the Caldervale Line is the one I take to Uni, and it's usually a 143 or 144 running the service, with the occasional 142. I've even seen a few in Merseyrail livery.

As for the main Caldervale Line, I think it is mainly 155s, as you say.

On the day I travelled I ended up getting a 158 going and a 155 coming back, both in WYPTE Livery. These trains do get quite busy after Halifax I noticed. On the outward service, what arrived at Victoria was a combination 158 and 153, when I boarded I went into yhe 153 to find out that this was not travelling with the 158 on the journey and was getting cut off. So I don't know whether the 153 was used on the previous trip. I think that they should have combination sets though since they can get quite busy.

I got on in Halifax today, and it was a 158 in Central Trains livery. Quite unusual.

Im sure I saw a central 158 pass by on the Calder Valley when I travelled last week. I think this might well have been used on a Man Vic-Leeds.
