Hello everyone Im back!!!!!!!! I do have good news and very bad news.
1: (good news) The Cumbres and Toltec has a new San Juan Limited style parlor car which made its maden voyage on June 6th 2009. Which was the train i was on. 2Bad news) K-36 # 488 struck a trailer at Cumbress Pass. However (as my freind Sam said) the boob who was on the tracks got the ticket for damaging state property. 3Very Very Very Bad news) K-36 # 489 derailed at the Los Pinos curve switch. The trailing truck under the cab derailed and caught in the switch. The trailing truck was pulled clean off and broke the rail at the switch. It took two days to put 489 back on the rails and back to Chama. The damage to the engine has it out of commision for a few weeks. Well thats latest news from Chama. Sorry for not being on more.
