Amtrak President fired

Today November 9th, Amtrak's Board of Director's fired Amtrak President David Gunn. It has to be presumed that this is because he refused to take measures that the Department of Transportation wanted, that he felt would be detrimental to the long term viability of Amtrak. Any way you look at it this is bad news for Amtrak.
