hi !

Hi I am a new member ,only enrolled today ! Always liked Trains but couldn,t understand why as we didn,t live near a railway line ! That was until I started my family tree .Turns out that my ancestors on my Dads side worked on the railway ,One was even working on Gods Wonderful Railway ! As you go into Paddington you can see the road were he used to live Spooky So guess thats why I have soft spot for FGW .However like all types of trains especially steam

It's funny really, they say it's in the blood, but I always wondered if it really was, since my family have no railway background, although I've not got much knowledge of what they did, so perhaps they do!

Welcome to the forum.
