Hi all first post and greetings from a wet Sydney

For all you alco lovers heres a fully preserved and operational RS3 - 4001 painted in the colours used for the Royal train in 1954

Went to Central Rail today and you all may or may not have seen these locos before but heres some shots of 4001 and 44211 interestingly the 40 class were traded for the 442 class and 40 class components used t oconstruct the 442 class part of the World series DL500 these being classified DL500G oh and some random 4-6-0 steamers from the 1930's to boot! Hi 4001 and welcome to the forum. Thanks for posting the very interesting shots, and for me of particular interest were the steam locos. Good looking machines. Look forward to viewing any more you may have
Thanks

Hello 4001 and welcome to the Railway Forum. It was raining when I got up at 06:15 this morning, and it is still raining now at 20:18. I enjoyed your photos and like Phil, the steam loco was of particular interest.
