Hi,

Just a quick hello to introduce myself.

Not an avid trainspotter - though I enjoy photographing and riding on trains as well as reading about the subject.

Also have a passing interest in the Basel tram system.

Hello nickatbasel and welcome to the Railway Forum. We have quite a few members who are keen on the Swiss railways. I was also never a train spotter as they were unknown in Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe)

Hi Nickatbasel, welcome to this very informal forum. You'll enjoy it, I'm sure. I've not spent much time in Switzerland, most of my visits have been whilst passing through on the way to somewhere else. I have travelled on the Luzern-Stans-Engelberg line.
