Hello and route information from the 1970's required
Hi Folks
Hello! I'm looking to go down memory lane and put together the route we took in the early 1970's and if possible retravel it, between Windsor and Enfield Town railway station. As a kid i remember that tube travel was involved as part on the journey. Maybe with a change? I can't remember which station we used in Windsor, or the number of changes. I remember a ticket office in London might have had a grey memorial plack of names from the war behind it?? Very fuzzy . Also one of the platforms (possibly the underground) might have been partially open to the sky. Maybe wrong. Part of the underground journey may have been above ground I've looked at some picture of Liverpool street overland station but it doesn't ring any bells with me. Any buffs able to solve the riddle? It would be the cheapest route we took! Otherwise can you recommend the forum I need to post this on?? Many thanks in advance |

Thanks for your reply Lisa
I asked an older relative and they helped me put it together in my mind! Some day I am going to take part of the journey again |
