My other layout

Hi,

I've finally made a start to my US layout. This sits above my existing layout and is onll 9 inch in width.

Some photos below. It will be a twin track layout. An upper level will go anti-clockwise and will consist of my Baltimore and Ohio passenger train, while the lower level will have my Burlington Northern freight train.

The loading ramp and plate bridge have been scratchbuilt. I'm also building a cattle pen for one of the sidings. The pick up in one of the photos is actually an Oxford diecast that I converted into a Morris pick up. I've placed it on the layout as it kind of looks like and early style of US pick up.

On the opposite side the lower level will snake its way down the 8ft length of the shed. Not sure how the upper level will go yet. I don't do any plans. I simply lay the track as I go.

I'll post more photos as and when I get around to doing more to the layout.

Alex
