Talking Virgin Adverts

The new Virgin adverts are excellent, and really made me smile when I first saw them. I particularily like the whistling red Indian serving drinks on board the train! Still I don't think it's as good as the one with the bits from all the films, that was pure genius. What does everyone else think?

Virgin have been the only TOC to really keep going with their ads. Seeing their latest one in my opinion is a lot more entertaining and seems less about promoting. Great to watch. Still have slogans as well, my favourite has to be their original 'business brains take virgin trains', back when evelctric locos, coaching stock and DVT's were the in thing.

Several weeks ago, i had to attend to an incident on the main line where horses had been run over by a loco, I realy dont think that the Virgin advert is good in any way, we have enough problems with persons trespassing on the main line, but in Virgins ads it OK to ride horses and physically attack the train with objects.
Fair enough the majority of people will just see the humerous side of the ad, but theres the stupid ones which will take literal side of it too.

Its a shame that Virgin have gone down this road, as their previous ads have been excellent.

Advertisers and "creatives" as they are known in the media industry dont have to remove the dead bits of animals and potentially, people off these vehicles and the line, or clear the aftermath of a derailment bcause of trespass etc.

sorry rant over

Definitely no need to apologise Ringo........What you say is perfectly true. Society nowadays has more than its fair share of nutters and they certainly don't need any encouragement from the media.
