Welcome NorthMancunian from an old Salfordian who has lived everywhere else since 1957. You will make many friends on the forum who are enthusiastic about every aspect of railways past and present.
I will be in Manchester next week for a short holiday. A little trainspotting will be required therapy on Wednesday (3rd) afternoon on platform 3 at Victoria if you are free to introduce yourself.
