North British Railway question
This is my first time on this site. How do I find out historical information. My g.g grandfather worked on the North British Railway. It says on his death cert that he was accidentally run over by an engine on the North British Railway and lived two hours - his occupation was given as Railway Contractor. He died 23rd July 1866.

You could try posing the question on this site.
http://www.lner.info/ They do have a section on queries on people and the North British was a constituent of the LNER. |
