Hello all! The countdown is on!

Hello everyone!

So glad to be able to join you all here 😁. We are Sally and Ed, two travellers making our way from Sydney to a London without getting on a single aeroplane. There were a lot of busses and ferries though South East Asia bus since we hit China we’ve fallen in LOVE with trains. We’ve pretty much decided this will be our main form of travel from China to London.

We’re leaving looking forward to learning from you all and joining the conversations as we undertake the next 12 000km by train. Ahead of us we’ve got Bullet Trains, the TransMongolian Railway, the Red Arrow and loads more!

Hello Sally and Ed and welcome to the Railway Forum. Hope your travels all go well and you are able to post lots of photos of the trains and sites. We see a lot of video from India, but very little from China and the middle Asia / Europe. Looking forward to reading your posts.

Hello Sally and ed, what a glorious undertaking! An absolutely splendid and excessively impressive plan, the likes of which I've never heard of before. I wish you the best of luck, and will wait with baited breath to hear about each leg of this journey.
