Hello from Lincoln
Hi, to all forum members, new to this forum, so I thought i would say Hello to you all, I have been interested in trains since my very much younger days. I also used to have an Ian Allen ABC of loco numbers, but for the `BR Blue` era and I seem to spend an inordinate amount of time, writing them down and waiting the the `Holy Grail` of the `COP!!`, never did get the last two 44`s though. Nowadays I am more into the technical aspect of the newer generation of traction, Bi-Modes, Electric, Electro-Diesel, Diesel, Battery, Solar?, Hydrogen fuel cell. the new technology is amazing and evolving, so I have started to photograph whatever is floating around the network. I have not forgotten the ancestors, so Heritage Steam, Diesel, Electrics, Dmu`s and other random stuff will appear on my photostream in due course, hope you enjoy, Cheers, Hornet

Hello Hornet and welcome to the Railway Forum. I was a fireman on the Rhodesian Railways over 50 years ago. We did have some Diesel loco's on the R. Railway's and I did work on them for about 7 months before I packed it all in and immigrated to the U.K. in 1969. Most of my time was working Garratt's up to and crossing the Victoria Falls.
