Crikey,
You lot will hafta buy row boats to get around if the flooding gets any worse up there. We have copped some flooding down-under also. The stupid Metro in smog hollow was flooded. And some lines in Queensland cut by flood waters. Mum Nature does throw a decent tantrum every so often. Steve. |

I see that one of our team whacked a tree near Ashwell & Morden the other day. Rather odd since most trees that could blow down already have. The train only suffered superficial damage, so given how fragile they are it must have been a low speed bash. The line has been cleared now, fortunately.
I was gonna go out on the motorsickle today, but 45mph winds made that too risky. We went by car instead, and couldn't go through the back roads at Whittlesey as the fields ard now a giant lake. I've honestly never seen so much water inland. These are strange times indeed. Cheers, BW. |

Both Ciara and Dennis presented me with travel problems.
For the former, I was trying to get back from Birmingham (having been at the HRA awards Dinner) but only got (at 50mph) as far as Preston before weather stopped play. For Dennis, I did manage to get home before the deluge (just) but various plans between then and now have been cancelled. Discretion being the better part and all that.
