$2bn Forrestfield-Airport Link, Western Australia
Government's funding for rail in its 2014-15 budget, including $2bn towards the construction of an Airport Rail Link into the Perth CBD. This Perth City Link rail project scheduled, for completion in 2014. This is implementing due to increasing demands of public transport.

Rail is far better for commuting IMHO, No pollution or sitting in traffic jams or facing risks from other bad drivers on the road.
