Hello all

Hello all. My name is Toby Austin from Colchester, Essex.

I have always had an interest in railways from a very young age. I am a student doing a degree in the Management of Tourism and one of the possible career paths I am interested in is working in railways from a tourism aspect. An example is looking at ways specialist rail ticket agencies such as Rail Europe can promote themselves better so as to make rail travel, certainly Europe more appealing. Especially as I am not entirely impressed with the current level of marketing.

I am also including two photo galleries. The first, smaller one are a few photos taken when I was in Los Angeles a few weeks ago when I paid a brief visit to Los Angeles Union Station. The other gallery features photos taken last summer when I went to Scandinavia on a three week expedition with the legendary InterRail pass. The countries featured are Finland, Sweden and Norway. I hope you enjoy them.

Toby
