Rail worker killed at N.Y.M.R.

It is with extreme sadness that I post this link http://www.thenorthernecho.co.uk/new...Moors_Railway/ My condolences to his family and friends and all at the North Yorkshire Moors Railway.

Please think before posting on this thread, this is NOT the place for speculation or criticism, the authorities will make their enquires and the reason for this will become known in due course.

R.I.P.

Bill. (62440)

Can't open the link Bill, but my condolences go to the family and friends as well. Always sad when this happens - thankfully very rare on British heritage lines.

Railways are dangerous places

Even for experienced Heritage workers there is still risk involved in being on the track and you can never be too careful. Always look out for others and hope that someone is looking out for you. God rest they're soul.

There but for the grace of God go any of us who work on railways, even though we take great care.

Condolences to his family, friends and all those who work at NYMR.

Best wishes,

John H-T.

Condolences to all friends and especially his family.
Railways are safe, but these things unfortunately happen, and I'm sure he will be missed by all.
