the reports are that the train was travelling faster than the 80kmph speed limit
It's a real surprise that anyone was still alive after the crash

lots of prayers and healing needed and being sent

Very tragic indeed. RIP.

From information given in the news reports they were doing 190km/h in an 80 zone. The driver is being investigated by the police.

The Driver survived and walked away from the wreck

The Press are at present condemning him openly as he APPARENTLY is a speed freak posting speedo pics whilst driving on Facebook

and of course that radio message he sent just before the crash

whatever next ?

I have heard the the way the coaches are constructed added to the problem, apparently they share a bogie! Could this be an added problem? Whatever it was a very sad day for the people and families caught up in this tragedy!
