Eurotrack Association Exhibition

The annual Eurotrack Association Exhibition will take place in Balatonfüred, by Lake Balaton, in Hungary on 26th and 27th August from 10.00 to 18.00 each day. The Association members will provide HO modules, which together with those from Hungarian Clubs, will assemble into an international layout. The sponsoring Club is the Baross Gabor Model Railway Club of Veszprém.

It's fine to hear news from Eurotrack.
We (the Rome Model Railway Club) joined with the MRC in Verona (the City of Romeo and Juliet) in their Exhibition in 1988, if I remember correctly.
And two hopelessly mad-of-trains chaps (that's me and Giovanni) made it all the way from Rome to Le Havre in 1990 (?) and back in a FIAT UNO carrying two modules of our layout.
Unfortunately we can't repeat such an expedition any more.
For the record, our two modules with the Roman Aquaeduct close to the railway line to Capannelle, are integral part of our layout.

The British Club which laid the foundation of Eurotrack (this I remember correctly) was the Solent MRC.
