Hi folks,
im new to this forum so please excuse me if i do not follow thecorrect protocol.
I am 70 years old and returned to trainspotting last year, to get me away from sitting about the house.
I enjoy following local freight and passenger trains at hartlepool, thornaby and darlington.
I also enjoy a day or 2 away spotting .york, doncaster, crewe, stafford etc. Anywhere i think may be busy.
I am thinking of having a few days in scotland but not too sure where. As i said i like freight engines but have not seen many scotrail passenger, so would like to see also.

Anyone any suggestions to where ?

Thanks, have a nice day now.

Hello Stan and welcome to the forum from all the staff. Carlisle or Lockerbie station's can be good for freight, enjoy the forum and all the best and if you take photo's we look forward to seeing them in the gallery.
