Ever thought of adding a balcony to your house? Apart from the loco I also like your patio and seating area David look good. Anyway thanks for putting it on for us

Thanks for the comments lads. Yes, Phil, I do have a small balcony and I must have looked a right idiot stood there last night in the rain with the video camera. If it wasn't for a neighbour's hedge a couple of doors down I could have a great shot looking north up the line towards Horrocksford signal box and Pimlico Bridge.
I guess the way round that is to get a little elevation and build a raised platform on top of the pergola! Can't see "her indoors", never mind the Ribble Valley Borough Council, letting me get away with planning permission for such a structure. Now, if I can get Harry and Jack, my grandsons, to approach with the idea, then I may get away with It!
