Tornado for Bluebell
The Bluebell Railway has announced that A1 No.60163 'Tornado' is to visit the Sussex line in May 2018. The loco is due to operate on the Bluebell for 5 days from Friday 25th to Tuesday 29th May. 'Tornado' previously visited in 2014 - at that time 60163 was in it's blue livery.

Nothing official on the Bluebell's website yet, but it would appear that 'Tornado' won't make the visit to the Bluebell. The A1 is still stripped down for repair at the Nene Valley Railway and the A1 Steam Locomotive Trust's website has an update which states that they expect to resume their duties on July 10th with the RAF 100 railtour from Lincoln to London.

Confirmed on Bluebell Railway's facebook page today that 'Tornado's visit to the Bluebell this month has been postponed and is being rearranged for 3-7 August - final arrangements are being made and full details will be announced in due course.
