Need help for Orient Express research
Dear forum members,
I'm no specialist on topics related to trains, but I have found myself conducting some research regarding the Orient Express, for a project. The O.E. in question is the Orient Express per se, not the 'Simplon Orient Express' or the 'Aldberg Orient Express', etc. The year I'm interested in is 1932, and mainly the names of the stations the train stopped at, along its journey. In particular, I'd like to know the name of the station the train stopped at in Vienna. If anyone could point me towards hi-def scans of the train's timetables, that would also be great. Any other resources wouild be greatly appreciated! Thank you very much to anyone who is available to lend a hand! Matthew Last edited by matt101; 28th August 2014 at 16:39. Reason: Added info |

Thank you, wyvern,
I had found Man in Seat 61, and although the website provides a wealth of information, the timetables it shows are from the Direct and Simplon Orient Express routes, not the Orient Express proper (the one that went through Germany, Austria and Romania, on its way to Istambul). Matthew |
