Howdy from across the Big Pond!

This is actually my second post on here, had to get the first one done because it's close to Christmas.

Anyway, I was into trains as a kid; then lost interest.....Well, now I have my own kids and they like trains, so I'm back!

As an adult I mainly make videos of model railroads, but I do have a few of full sized prototypes. That way the kids get to see lots of trains, and I get to see them again from the comfort of my PC when I edit and save the video footage.

If anyone is interested in watching any of these videos, here is a link to my YouTube page:
https://www.youtube.com/user/MisterPersuasion/

Well that's all I have for now.

Later.....

Hello DoctorZ and welcome to the Railway Forum. I to was a train mad kid, but I never lost my interest and was a fireman and driver on the Rhodesia Railways. When I relocated to the UK, I was not able to get onto BR, so I turned to model railways.

Hi DoctorZ and a warm welcome from me too.
I was a spotter in my youth too, and joined the army at 16, so lost interest (1965)
Then in 2007 I happened to visit the North Yorkshire Railway, a heritage site, and that rekindled my interest in all things railway (especially steam)
Now I have joined groups and enjoy visits to the vast number of heritage sites we have in the UK.
Hope you too have as much fun.
All the best
Happy Christmas
Phil

Howdy DoctorZ, love ya avatar.

Welcome to our forum. I drive electric trains over here in Blighty, but I do love your old American diesels.

Especially EMD F7s, BNSF kit and warbonnets.

Hope you like it here, and Merry Christmas

(I assume I can still say Christmas on here without offending someone from another 'persuasion' and getting the site shut down ? )
