Rare visitor to Welshpool

A newly-overhauled Austrian loco will be visiting Welshpool & Llanfair Light Railway from July and is expected to stay for 2 years.
Zillertalbahn U class 0-6-2T No.2 'Zillertal' will is being hired to cover the overhaul of some of the WLLR's own fleet.

Interesting narrow gauger soot belcher with monster smoke stack.
I presume that it isn't rack type.
I can almost hear it yodelling it's way along the track.
Shame it can't go through the Chunnel to get there.
Steve.

I read this yesterday and will be down there for their steam gala at the end of August
A very apt addition to the loco fleet as the railway already has a rake of coaches from Zillertal

I don't think I'll be able to get there at all this year, as all my holiday from work is booked already, but might try to plan next year's holiday so that we are in the vicinity!
