Community link for railway line (BBC News)
The government gives the go-ahead for a community rail link in Cumbria which will give local people more say on the service they get.

You gotta love these 'community rail lines' . It gives the passengers a say in decisions, meaning that TOCs can spend less time thinking of how to 'improve' things and more time thinking of the money from ticket sales
