Leighton Buzzard
Has anyone ever been to the Leighton Buzzard light railway ?
I know it is only "down the road" from me, but I have never been, is it any good ? I am not usually a great fan of Narrow gauge, but steam is steam I suppose. Anybody that has been to "Leighton" tell me about it. 48111 |

Well, I have never been a great fan of Narrow gauge as I said, but you know I suppose all the people involved on it, have their interests and work very hard so good "on em".

I haven't been to the Leighton Buzzard railway, but whatever your own interest is if you go with an open mind and appreciate that it is another branch of a vast hobby you can enjoy it. As you say the people involved work hard and have produced a unique product really. Enjoy your visit.

Visit Buzzrail for a good look at what thery have on offer. Our visits have been always been enjoyable and as it is most of what was a complete railway system well worth supporting. I think it must have one of the smallest radius curves on any passenger carrying railway in the country which makes interesting viewing from the back end of the train.

It's quite a few years since I last visited, but I know that things have developed and Improved since then, and I enjoyed it tremendously.
A few pics from about 1972-73 are nailed on. Regards, 62440. |
