Weather or not to

G'day,
The mention of a soot belcher stomping in the Central West today did prompt me to charge up me camera batteries.
Alas, I should have taken more notice of the weather forecast on tv last nite.
Total Fire Bans being enforced in many regions of NSW due to the conditions.
A number of blazes raging up north.
But, stupidly I decided to motor east to intercept the hystericals.
Imagine my surprise when a pair of weasels shuddered past.
No smoke signals on the horizon.
YAWN.
So, I motored back home again.
We are warned that our summer will be nasty.
So, I guess that will put the kybosh on any soot belching for at least six months.
Steve.

Oh dear Steve. A crappy Winter, and now a nasty Summer.

You're coming out of Winter and we're heading into it.

It is what it is of course, but I still think a place where you can have a 'barbie' on the beach on Crimbo Day is pretty cool (maybe I should get out more?)

Cheers, BW.

G'day BW,
Yer beach barbie had better be a gas type and supervised by an adult if there be a total fire ban.
Any naked flame will get you into deep doo during a total fire ban.
The trouble with Xmas beach barbies, other than total fire bans, getting sand on the snags.
And, you would need a shoe-horn to squeeze onto Bondi beach amongst the hordes at Xmas.
Don't forget the 50 + SPF sunscreen lotion, or you end up like the lobsters that you got on the barbie.
Santa ain't never fetched me any lobsters for Xmas tucker.
Steve.
