A two hour window in between the grey skies and rain at lunchtime today brought out the splendour of the S&C and a fitting backdrop to the CME. I last saw Britannia back in the summer of 1966 at Preston by the old mpd at Maudland Bank heading a Blackpool excursion. It's great to be reacquainted, 45 years is too long!

I wish I'd stuck to my original plan, which was to go to Selside, however I ended up at the Quarries at Helwith Bridge. Still having seen that video I feel like I've seen it at both places.
Good videoing as usual.

Superb video David, Selside is just the job for filming steam charters.

Hi Ken. It was backbreaking work laying all that trackwork. What do you think of my lineside modelling technique? :-)
