East Lancs Diesel Gala 2007

The East Lancs Diesel Gala Week will run from Wednesday 4th of July to Sunday 8th of July.

Wednesday- Visiting locos only
Thursday- Sulzers and Hydraulics only
Friday- English Electrics
Saturday- Visiting locos and half of the East Lancs based fleet
Sunday- Visiting locos and the other half of the home fleet

The visitors will be D8020, 20901, 20905, D5310, 26024, 37175 and D1015.

Dont think I`ll make it = Going on holiday to the Lakes for a week at the weekend. It so happens L&H railway are having their gala this weekend

.So will be there I hope if the wife doesnt kill me first when she finds out.

Im already double booked on Saturday so I cant make it I was always amazed at the ELRs 9 day diesel gals in the 1990s.

Unfortunately can't make this one myself, but to anyone who is going...you're going to have a great time!!! I would love to be there!
